Desktop Publishing Business
Now that you have been working and learning Desktop Publishing, you may one day want to go into that field of work. Many Desktop publishers start their own business. This assignment takes a look at what it would take to start your own desktop publishing business.

Once you have done your research, create a PowerPoint presentation on "How to start your own desktop publishing business." Save as: "DTP Business" - PowerPoint Help. |

Include a Title slide, one or two background slides, then at least 11 slides (one for each of the 10 steps, 12-13 slides minimum). You need to include pictures when appropriate (use Google image search for; desktop publishing, businessmen, computer art, contracts, classes, etc), backgrounds, colors, etc. Don't distort your pictures. You can't enlarge smaller pictures with out distorting them. You also need to keep pictures in the same porportions (vertical or horizontal). Use bullets for you main points. Have your bullets fly or dissolve in (as if you were presenting them to an audience). Do Not use laser animation where one letter at a time flys in. Do Not have your bullets fly off the slide. |

Do not use sound (turn it off), and do not make it distracting (think of your audience). Use contrasting colors, no busy backgrounds or animations. |
