Washington DC - WebQuest PowerPoint Presentation By: Steve Christensen

You are going to take a virtual field trip to our nations capitol. Your Task is to research information about each of 9 famous sites in Washington DC. You will then create a PowerPoint presentation about this capitol town. A visual report.

	What to do	How to do it
1	Research your information	Research and record your info (4-5 main points on each part of the trail) on the Data Collection Sheet (teacher will provide). Go to the following site to find your information. You will see a map of Washington DC. Click on the sites to get information about each site. (Do Not use "Hours of operation" as one of your facts. 2	Create a PowerPoint presentation sample (except topic will be Washington DC)	Save your presentation as "your initials - Washington DC." Click here for directions on how to do this.
3	Include a map and explaination of the City.	Include this map of Washington DC on slide 2 along with an explaination of what the trail is (see #1 above). (to download this map; click and hold on it, choose "Copy Image," then paste it on your slide)
4	Proof Check	Make sure all pages look good and are complete, proof read all text, make sure transitions work, all directions were followed.
