You are going to take a virtual field trip to Boston. Your Task is to research information about each of the 9 sites along the Freedom Trail in Boston, Mass. You will then create a PowerPoint presentation about this historic trail. A visual report.

	What to do	How to do it
1	Read the Freedom Trail background	Go to this Freedom Trail Background site. Read the "Welcome to the Freedome Trail?" section to help you understand what the Freedom Trail is.
2	Research your information	Research and record your info (4-5 main points on each part of the trail) on the Data Collection Sheet (teacher will provide). Go to any of the following 3 websites to do your research. The choice is yours: Freedom Trail Foundation (Click on the "Visitors" section) Boston Historic National Park (click on the links for individual sites. Boston's Freedom Trail (you will find the sites of the Freedom Trail in the blue navigation bar on the left)
3	Create a PowerPoint presentation sample	Save your presentation as "your initials - Freedom Trail." Click here for directions on how to do this.
4	Include a map and explaination of the Trail.	Include this map of the Freedom Trail on slide 2 along with an explaination of what the trail is (see #1 above). (to download this map; click and hold on it, choose "Copy Image," then paste it on your slide or you can drag it onto your slide)
5	Proof Check	Make sure all pages look good and are complete, proof read all text, make sure transitions work, all directions were followed.
