The Vampire Promise 2

                                       Author: Caroline B. Cooney

                                                    Genre: Horror

The book I just read, The Vampire's Promise 2 by Caroline B. Cooney is about a girl named Devnee who moves to a new neighborhood.   In her house is a tower where the vampire lives to grant Devnee's wishes.   Devnee has some buddies (named Aryssa, Troy, William and Victoria) that help her through the first few days of school, until Devnee overhears Aryssa and Troy talking cruelly about Devnee, and she tries to get back at some of them. But the vampire can get inside her head and Devnee isn't safe to say anything, even inside of her mind.

    Eagle Strike

                               by Anthony Horowitz

The name of my book is Eagle Strike by Anthony Horowitz. The genre of Eagle Strike is action/adventure and it is the fourth book in the Alex Rider series.

Eagle Strike is about a teenaged spy named Alex Rider. In this book, Alex is vacationing in Europe with his friend Sabina when a bomb blows up her house, almost killing her dad. Immediately, Alex expects it to be Yassen Gregorovic, a hired assassin whom Alex saw earlier on the beach. When Alex investigates, he learns that Yassen is working for an evil rock star named Sir Damian Cray, who wants to “fix” the world (even though he would be destroying it) and stop drugs. Now Alex must reason with him so he will not do anything to destroy the world.
