Need Book Suggestions for your Student? San Diego Unified School District's Recommended List Grades K to 6 Recommended List Grades 6 to 12 CHALLENGE your student! Look at recommendation for Freshman English. California Young Reader and Newbery Award winners are always a great place to look.
Textbook Reminder: Classrooms have one set of textbooks. Each student has a set of books for home use. Please remind your student to keep the book at home. It preserves the book and preserves your child's spinal health. Please have your student cover all the textbooks. Each textbook costs approximately $60.00. TEXTBOOK RETURN: June 2008.
Standardized Testing Testing will take place in March and April of 2008. Test release questions from previous years are available from the California Department of Education. Parents and students may preview these questions to prepare.
