The Lewis Middle School Jazz Band performed for the San Diego City Schools
"Salute to Excellence" program, a tribute to all Valedictorians and
the top 1% of all San Diego high schools. The event was held on May 25,
2005, at the Seaworld Nautilus pavilion.
The Jazz Band was extremely honored that the
Public Relations department of SDCS selected a middle school
Band group to perform for a high school function.'
